Bernd Däne, Wolfgang Fengler IMPLEMENTING MIXED DISCRETE-CONTINUOUS MODELS INTO REALTIME ENVIRONMENTS Abstract: This paper describes a case study and additional considerations about implementing mixed discrete-event and continuous-time models into real-time embedded systems. The modelling environment has been a general- purpose multi-domain modelling tool. The implementation process gives special attention to optimized sche- duling in the different domains, buffer handling and consumption of time and memory. Further improvements are discussed too.
